1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the CrossBorder Freight website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

CrossBorder Freight provides cross-border logistics services including:

• Air and sea freight DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping from China
• Pre-shipment inspection and condition reporting
• Consolidated shipping and repacking
• Special cargo handling (batteries, liquids, cosmetics, magnetic goods)
• Value-added services: warehousing, labeling, returns processing
• Customs clearance and duty payment services

3. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited and will not be shipped under any circumstances:

• Flammable and explosive materials
• Narcotics and illegal drugs
• Counterfeit goods and intellectual property violations
• Weapons, ammunition, and related accessories
• Live animals and animal products prohibited by CITES
• Any items prohibited by Chinese export laws or destination country import laws

We reserve the right to refuse any shipment at our discretion if we believe the contents may violate laws or regulations.

4. Shipping Responsibilities

Customer responsibilities:

• Provide accurate shipping addresses and contact information
• Declare the true value and contents of all shipments
• Ensure products comply with destination country regulations
• Pay all shipping fees and duties as quoted

Our responsibilities:

• Inspect and report on package condition before shipping
• Handle export and import customs clearance
• Pay applicable duties and taxes (under DDP terms)
• Provide tracking information and delivery confirmation

5. Pricing and Payment

All shipping quotes are based on actual or volumetric weight (whichever is greater), destination, shipping method, and product category. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Payment is required before shipment dispatch. We accept payments in USD and CNY.

6. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, including customs inspections, weather conditions, public holidays, and carrier delays. We are not liable for delays caused by these factors.

7. Pre-Shipment Inspection

We inspect every package before shipping and provide a condition report. Our inspection covers:

• Visual condition of packaging and contents
• Quantity verification against order details
• Photo documentation
• Basic quality assessment

Our inspection is a value-added service and does not constitute a guarantee of product quality or functionality. Customers are responsible for resolving product quality issues directly with their suppliers.

8. Liability and Insurance

Our liability for lost or damaged shipments is limited as follows:

• For DDP shipments, liability is limited to the declared value of goods or USD 100 per shipment, whichever is lower, unless additional insurance is purchased
• We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate supplier packaging
• We are not liable for delays, confiscation by customs, or issues caused by inaccurate documentation provided by the customer
• Additional cargo insurance can be purchased at an extra cost

9. Returns and Refunds

If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and re-shipping fees. If a return is due to our error, we will cover the cost of correction. Refunds for shipping fees are issued at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

10. Customs and Duties

Under DDP terms, we handle customs clearance and pay applicable duties and taxes. However, if customs authorities require additional documentation or impose additional fees due to product-specific regulations, the customer is responsible for these costs. We declare the true value of all shipments and do not participate in under-declaration.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of CrossBorder Freight and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossBorder Freight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the shipping fee paid for the specific shipment in question.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international shipping laws and regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
